Job Summary: DT Professional Services is seeking a Naval Aviator with the understanding of aviation EW systems and recent experience as a Flight Officer on the MH-60R, E-2D, EA-18G, and/or the F-35. The Fleet Liaison for Data Integration position primarily involves engaging with both active military squadron personnel and support laboratory personnel and the admin on both sides to facilitate better communications and understanding of Fleet needs.The position’s goal is to arrive at a more comprehensive and accurate development of requirements coming back to the support labs, and work with those labs to assist in reduction of overlapping duplicative efforts, with the drive to increase overall efficiency in “speed to the fleet” Electronic Warfare efforts. Responsibilities:
Primary location will be onsite at Point Mugu, CA & the employee will be expected to:
Meet weekly with developmental teams in support of Fleet Software and Hardware improvement and sustainment efforts
Integrate with the various Support Labs under the NAVAIR umbrella such as AEA-SHEELD, AEA-EWDS, MDEWSSA, JATO, and others
Occasional travel to engage with Fleet squadrons directly on both the West and East coast
Provide insight and guidance on end-user “Use Cases”, advising on functionality and user interface needs that will meet Fleet end-user needs
Integrate with platform specific Liaisons to help ensure proper communication of requirements from that community, and where those requirements are and are not being met by integration efforts
Report and brief generation to government and military groups and entities on “State of the Art” in terms of integration efforts
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years experience active duty military service with involvement in Electronic Warfare support of Military Airborne Platforms, actual squadron based officer highly preferred
Recent military experience, 3 years or less since separation
Bachelor's degree (any field)
Ability to travel on short notice, both CONUS and OCONUS
An active TS/SCI clearance is required to start (must have had in the last 24months)
Preferred Qualifications:
SAFe-AGILE experience
US Naval Aviation experience, preferably a Pilot or Backseat operator with EW experience or understanding
Emphasis on the following airframes: MH-60R, E-2D, EA-18G, F-35, P-8
The compensation range for this position: $120,000 - $180,000 annually.
