Description We are offering a contract for a Tax Preparer role in Pleasanton, California. This role is crucial to our operations in the tax preparation industry, where you will be responsible for various tasks relating to individual tax return processing and customer inquiries resolution.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process individual tax returns using E1040 Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to tax preparation Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer tax information Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance in tax preparation Assist customers in understanding their tax obligations and possible deductions Review and verify tax forms submitted by clients for accuracy Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the tax preparation department. Requirements Proficiency in tax preparation software such as E1040 is required. Must possess comprehensive knowledge and experience in individual tax return processes. Demonstrated skills and experience in tax preparation is essential. Previous work experience in the role of a Tax Preparer is a necessity.
