Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Pleasant Hill, California. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work in the telecom industry, supporting our accounting operations. Responsibilities: Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintaining accurate customer credit records Resolving customer credit inquiries in a timely manner Monitoring customer credit accounts regularly Taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments Utilizing QuickBooks for various accounting operations Managing Debit Credit operations as per Accounting Principles Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations effectively. Requirements Proficiency in using QuickBooks for managing financial data Solid understanding of accounting principles to ensure accurate financial reporting Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with debit credit operations to maintain financial records Ability to perform various accounting operations, such as reconciliations and ledger entries Strong skills in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial entries Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information Excellent data entry skills to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in financial data Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Willingness to stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and practices.
