El Dorado Disposal , a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Yard Laborer to join our team in Placerville, CA !The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. Starting pay will be $21 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $21-$22 per hour.Responsibilities Include:
Yard and facility maintenance including debris and oil spot clean up
Cart washing and restocking (wheels, lids, axels, etc.)
Disposal of broken carts
Manual labor including landscaping and fence line maintenance
Pressure washing and storage management of carts
Picking up and sweeping wind blown trash
Run sweeper and blow truck parking areas every Friday
Various utility tasks as needed
Requirements:
At least 1 year of work experience. Preferably in a laborer type role
The ability to stand outside throughout a 8 hr shift
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability and will to work in all weather conditions. The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate.
Experience running equipment is a plus (forklift, loader or baler)
Must pass drug screen and pre-employment background check.
Work environment involves some exposure tophysicalrisks such as movingmechanicalparts, which requires following basicsafetyprecautions.
