Description Direct Hire Opportunity!We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our client's nursing department. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of patient care, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice.Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership to the nursing department, setting strategic goals and objectives.

Oversee and manage nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with industry standards and organizational protocols.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and maintain regulatory compliance.

Develop and implement professional development programs for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Strategically plan, develop, and evaluate the clinical education and nursing staff development program, ensuring alignment with current federal and state guidelines.

Collaborate closely with licensed staff to deliver continuous education initiatives and contribute to the training of new team members.

Provide leadership in overseeing the implementation of our exceptional skilled nursing program, ensuring its effectiveness in meeting the needs of both patients and residents

Manage the nursing department budget effectively, allocating resources to meet patient care needs while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Lead efforts to achieve and maintain accreditation from relevant healthcare organizations.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the nursing department and across other departments.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license in California.

Master’s degree in Nursing or related field (preferred).

Proven experience in nursing leadership and management roles.

In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
