Job Title: AP/AR ClerkJob DescriptionA manufacturing company in Petaluma is looking to add an AP/AR Clerk to support the team. This position will have deadlines, a multitude of accounting activities, and work in a fast-paced and changing environment.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Assist with an accurate and timely monthly, and year-end close.
Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice posting.
Maintain accounts receivable and send statements, ensuring timely payments from customers.
Work with Customer Service to ensure a positive customer experience.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
Collaborate with other departments and subsidiaries to support overall company goals.
Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all posted transactions.
Daily cash management and cash reconciliations.
Process expense reports and reconcile credit cards.
Collect timesheet information for payroll processing.
Weekly reporting to other entities.
Process credits and RMAs.
Assist purchasing & supply chain team where needed.
Other duties as assigned.
