This role involves strategic planning, project management, team leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of technology initiatives that align with business objectives.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

As a Senior Manager of Application Development, you will oversee multiple scrum teams in Product Development

You will manage dynamic teams to deliver effective execution of product development initiatives, focusing on quality, security, and resilience of the products, and acting as a primary liaison with various business leaders.

Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will keep the team informed of company-wide initiatives and leaders comfortable with the team's progress

You will be a role model for motivating the team to maintain positive momentum and energy

Technical Expertise : Lead the teams on design, development, and implementation of client facing full stack applications. Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on technology trends, opportunities, and risks related to projects.

Team Management: Lead multiple full stack product development teams, including developers, technical leads, quality assurance engineers.

Collaboration : Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and service providers.

Project Execution: Ensure the effective execution of product development initiatives, focusing on quality, security, and resilience of the products.

Leadership and Development: Responsible for people leadership, fostering team engagement, conducting year-end reviews, and managing compensation planning

Strategic Oversight: Provide strategic oversight and direction to the product development teams.

Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure the quality of product development and support.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and support.

Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment of goals and expectations.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.

You have 10 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role

Proven experience in managing scrum teams and delivering complex projects.

Strong knowledge of leading products from conception to delivery.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Experience in strategic planning, quality assurance, and risk management.

Good understanding of technology and experience working on developing products new and old.

Experience with projects involving modernization of applications ( on prem/ cloud) would be a plus.
