Walnut Street, 5th Floor, Pasadena CA 91188 Department Description: Group Provider Enrollment Operations Coordinators are responsible for managing the application procedures for our medical centers and offices. This pivotal role involves overseeing the collection, verification, and processing of enrollment applications while maintaining stringent adherence to regulatory guidelines. You'll collaborate closely with providers, ensuring accurate and complete submissions and upholding the integrity of our provider population. Job Duties: Review and meticulously assess provider enrollment applications, ensuring alignment with Medicare program requirements. Verify provider eligibility for participation in Medicare in accordance with CMS guidelines. Provide valuable assistance throughout the eligibility appeals process for enrollment denials. Guide providers through the completion of CMS applications and meticulously validate supporting documentation authenticity. Maintain strict confidentiality handling sensitive information concerning all Providers. Analyze and interpret a high volume of provider information, determining eligibility for Medi-Cal enrollment. Conduct effective case management procedures to facilitate streamlined operations. Provide comprehensive phone coverage and support for inquiries and assistance. Internship Project/s: Project Overview: Knowledge Base Migration from OneNote to Salesforce Objective: The primary goal of this project is to transition our existing knowledge base from OneNote to Salesforce, ensuring a seamless transfer of information and improving accessibility and usability for the team. Key Steps: Assessment and Planning: Evaluate the current structure and content in OneNote. Identify essential articles, information, and categories that need to be transferred to Salesforce. Define a migration strategy - whether to directly migrate content or restructure it for better organization in Salesforce. Setting Up Salesforce: Create a dedicated section or module within Salesforce for the knowledge base. Set up user permissions and access levels for the team members who will contribute to and use the knowledge base. Content Migration: Develop a detailed plan for migrating content from OneNote to Salesforce. Create a timeline for content migration, specifying phases or batches for a systematic transition. Convert OneNote content into suitable formats compatible with Salesforce (e.g., text, images, documents). Ensure the accuracy and completeness of information during the migration process. Article Creation and Standardization: Develop a standardized template for articles in Salesforce. Create new articles for any information that needs to be updated, expanded, or refined during the migration. Implement a consistent structure for articles to enhance readability and accessibility. Job Summary: Under supervision assists in the provision of information, maintenance of databases, report production and routine data analysis. Work is reviewed for completeness, accuracy and soundness. Essential Responsibilities: Examples of project support include: Collects, prepares and tracks reports and summaries such as: budget to actual expenditures, production statistics, and utilization of services and statistical records of performance. Performs a variety of data collection and analysis assignments. Prepares ad hoc data requests as directed. Prepares and/or formats graphs, spreadsheets and reports by utilizing office software. May be asked to maintain databases on a regular basis by entering data and preparing data extracts. May extract information from different sources to compile data. Executes existing queries for established reports. Schedules conference calls and meetings. Contributes to the development of presentations materials. Provides administrative and project support as assigned such as copying, filing, entering and extracting data. Engages in and supports project work.
