Description Robert Half is seeking a diligent and meticulous Attorney for a fully remote, part-time opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, propounding discovery, and drafting a range of motions for premise Liability cases. The ideal Attorney will offer prior experience in a related area of law. However, those with any form of civil litigation experience are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive legal research Propound discovery in a timely and effective manner Draft a range of motions, including motions for continuance, to enforce subpoenas, and to compel Utilize personal equipment and provided software log-ins to complete tasks remotely Manage a caseload of civil litigation cases, specifically in the field of personal injury (premises liability) Use legal software such as 3M, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, and Management System proficiently Handle complaints and claims administration Maintain thorough and accurate documentation Brief the team regularly on case updatesRequirements Must hold a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school Admission to the state bar Proficiency in using 3M, Case Management Software, and other legal software Experience with LexisNexis and Management System Strong skills in briefing, civil litigation, claim administration, complaint handling, and documentation Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information High ethical standards and professional integrity Strong research and analytical skills.
