As an IT Support Engineer, the focus is the technology needs of the company. This position ensures that IT infrastructure runs properly, timely and efficiently. The main emphasis is continuous monitoring of systems, software, and hardware. If any issues arise, identify, troubleshoot and resolve as quickly as possible. Position may also require larger and more in-depth projects as the need arises.
Assist with JD Edwards business software needsVerify all backup jobs are scheduled, tapes are set and previous jobs have run correctly.Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues as quickly as possible with minimal effect on productionAdminister, develop, maintain, and test backup data integrityMaintain and manage Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365 emailManage and maintain VM environmentsMonitor computer networks for security threats or unauthorized usersManages client assets according to investment preferences and goals. Meets with clients to evaluate asset status, needs, risks, goals and progress. This includes time clocks, scanners, radios, cellphones and computer systems.Work with departmental managers to ensure IT needs are being met, develop enactment plans if there are unmet needs or concerns.Implement new software applicationsMaintain proper documentation of IT procedures Vacancy caducado!
