Software Engineer to lead development on a team developing multi-modal data collection and analysis for next generation IoT devices. Responsibilities of the role include software system-level architecture and feature development, test implementation, API development, code optimization, and working with researchers to harden and integrate algorithms. Knowledge of sensor data processing, feature extraction algorithms, compression algorithms, data analysis, and embedded firmware development are all a plus.
- Applicants should have a B.S. with 5+ years of industry experience, an MS with 3+ years of industry experience, or a Ph.D.
- Excellent Python programming.
- Experience developing in C/C
- Experience writing Linux shell scripts.
- Experience architecting and implementing software for embedded projects with custom hardware.
- Experience developing high-reliability systems.
- Experience implementing over-the-air update frameworks.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests for automated testing.
- Experience implementing continuous integration/continuous development pipelines along with standard version control practices.
- Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar background.
