Description Job Title: Inventory ClerkJob Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our team. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting stock audits, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be proficient in inventory management software, and have a keen eye for detail. This role is crucial in maintaining efficient operations and ensuring that our inventory is properly accounted for.Responsibilities:

Perform regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.

Conduct audits of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify quantities and quality.

Update inventory records in the system to reflect stock movements and adjustments.

Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed to prevent shortages.

Coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.

Inspect and identify damaged or expired items and process returns or disposal as necessary.

Organize and maintain the storage area to maximize space utilization and facilitate efficient access to inventory.

Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies for management review.

Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and production, to forecast inventory needs and plan accordingly.

Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and loss.

Requirements

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.

Proven experience in inventory control or related roles.

Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical ability to lift and move inventory items as needed.
