HVAC Technician

Description:Assists in utility shut downsComplies with all hospital standards and policies with a focus on safety, license requirements, smoking, attendance, and trainingInstalls new or replacement machinery, equipment, and fixtures following applicable building codesMaintains and repairs various equipment in hospital/clinicPerforms a variety of semi-skilled mechanical, electrical, or general work in connection with the maintenance and repair of a variety of equipment and systemsTake direction and assist tradespersons for the duration of an assignmentResponsible for keeping accurate and legible records, time cards, work requests, log book entries, charts and record sheets, and turned in to supervisor in a timely mannerPerforms equipment preventative maintenancePerforms routine inspections of building machines, noting deficiencies and initiates repairs.Responds to customer requests to address environmental or equipment deficienciesWork BAS/BMS to control temp changes in patient roomsHandle air flow changes, filters, and run preventative maintenanceCMMS experienceAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any licenses or certifications is qualifyingEducation: high school diploma of GED equivalentExperience: 2 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experienceLicense/certification: noneAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
