DESCRIPTION:Duties: Work on conceptual design, prototyping and testing phases. Ensure designs translate to delivery/implementation effectively. Apply effective research methods, map user journeys and understand user behaviors. Research, gather requirements, set design goals and create user-centric designs for enterprise software products and features with rapid prototyping and testing. Support Product and Engineering teams to evolve designs during discovery phase. Identify friction points, establish design goals, conceptualize and design solutions in our product areas. Apply design thinking principles and analytical skills, understand business needs, articulate vision and translate complex technical concepts, data and feedback into actionable insights. Create user-centered solutions through user flows, personas, information architecture, wireframes and iterative prototypes. Communicate the value of designs, rationale behind the research process and design decisions to bring stakeholders including leadership, along the design journey. Contribute to team building, product roadmap and product strategy. Deliver designs in a streamlined manner and support project management operations and product development process. Support the Experience team in building outcome-driven best practices, frameworks and process improvements and that have strong roots in the design methodology. Contribute content to master design systems to facilitate consistency of the product portfolio.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction, Product Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or Experience Design Associate, Associate Designer, Product Adoption Associate, UX Software Engineer, Consulting Designer & Researcher, Product Design and Development or related occupation.Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Using at least one design pillar including User Research, User Experience Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, and Product Development; Technical and design research methods, research planning, execution and reporting; map process flows and user journeys; Transforming complex ideas, data and research into actionable insights for informed decision making and problem solving; Driving design discovery, research, goals setting, conceptual design, ideation, innovation, prototyping and testing phases; Planning the work structure including shaping product strategy and project management activities; Making design presentations to technical audiences including leadership showing an understanding of constraints, opportunities and conveying resulting design decisions, and ensuring streamlined design delivery; Working on projects from concept to design delivery and facilitating collaboration; Using one or more industry standard design tools to convey intent including Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud; and Portfolio highlighting work showing process and contributions.Job Location: 3223 Hanover St., Palo Alto, CA 94304.Full-Time.
