We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Lead Installer with a minimum of 5 years experience to join our team. As a Solar Lead Installer, you will be responsible for installing solar panels and related equipment on residential properties. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment. Duties
- Install solar panels on roofs or other structures following established safety guidelines
- Mount racking systems and secure solar panels in place
- Connect solar panels to electrical systems, ensuring proper wiring and connections
- Test and troubleshoot solar panel systems to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- 5 years of previous experience in solar panel installation
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
- Familiarity with fixture installation
- Experience working with high voltage and low voltage systems is desirable
- Forklift certification is a plus
