Job Title: Carpenters & Finishers
Location: Palm Springs / Palm Desert
Salary: $22 - $30 based on experience
Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled Carpenters and Finishers to take on Commercial and Residential projects that require precision and an eye for detail. As a member of our team, you will construct, install, and enhance a wide range of wood structures and fixtures while ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our client’s expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and sketches to understand project specifications.
Construct and install structures using various materials, and apply finishes meticulously.
Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and sealing as needed; apply stains, paints, and varnishes.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality outcomes.
Inspect and maintain work areas and tools to comply with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in carpentry and finishing roles.
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishing processes.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and physical stamina.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
