Event Coordinator and Customer Service

Busy high end flower shop is looking to hire someone to work on event proposals for parties and brides. Down time you will also be asked to help walk in customers and general help in the shop.

Prefer to have someone with flower knowledge and event work experience.

What You Will Do For Events:

Ensure that all wedding and events are handled efficiently and professionally through timely communication, paperwork distribution.

Provide all support documentation (room diagrams, pictures, etc), communication with owner and design team to note client's expectations, provide clarifications, changes, and deletions.

Conduct and/or attend all support meetings .

Function as the contact to client for all aspects of their events and to be available by telephone.

Understand wedding/event minimums, pricing and standard operating policies.

Develop and build proposals for customized designs, including theme of events, and work with design staff or owner on flower list.

Ability to troubleshoot and adapt to change.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proven Social Media and networking skills.

Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to work with diverse personalities.

Flexible and able to assist multiple Partners.

Excellent Time Management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
