Part Time On-Site Manager- Mobile Home Park, (Desert Hot Springs, CA)
Desert Valley Estates, an 88-space mobile home community in Desert Hot Springs, is seeking a Part Time On-Site Manager. Hours are 20-25 per week. Timing during day is flexible, but must be at some point onsite 20-25 hours per week during 8:00 am – 6:30 pm window. Please reach out if you have any questions.
The PT manager will be responsible for the successful daily operation of the property and will maintain a positive, professional relationship with all park residents and other staff.
Key Duties
Manage all aspects of assigned properties
Process applicant paperwork, screening applicants, obtaining landlord references, ensure all paperwork including lease and house rules receive signatures, re-certifications of current tenants, conducting move -ins and move – outs
Supervise park staff
Collect rents and security deposits
Enforce lease and house rules
Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
Maintain excellent curb appeal
Advertise and market vacant units to attract tenants
Follow company policies and procedures
Qualifications / Skills:
Well-organized with excellent time management skills
Proficient with MS Office, spreadsheet, word processing programs, and e-mail.
Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal, listening, and written communication skills
Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants, vendors, and corporate staff
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to manage emergency situations
Proficient in meeting strict deadlines
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Very effective organizational skills

Valid CA Driver’s License

This position does represent the company in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes or
resolving grievances, as On-Site Manager you will be expected to work with guests and visitors
to ensure satisfaction. The On-Site Manager will have to take initiative and get creative in
resolving challenges and involve a supervisor when previous methods have been unsuccessful.
