Property Management company seeking an Apartment Manager and Apartment Maintenance to manage/maintain an apartment community in the Twentynine Palms, Yucca, and Blythe areas. A unit may or may not be included.
The manager position consists of collecting rents, making deposits, computer posting, preparation of weekly and monthly reports, and preparing and assembling all paperwork for certification of new tenants while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies. Experience with Tax Credit program is preferred. The day to day management includes the successful and consistent enforcement of lease and house rules as well as compliance of company policies, procedures and programs to ensure the building is well managed and maintained. Managers must develop a supportive environment for all residents; interact with maintenance staff to insure units are turned and residents maintenance needs are being met, as well as interact with vendors and corporate administrative staff.
The maintenance position consists of timely completion of maintenance request work orders to ensure tenants maintenance needs are being met, working with the manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies, preforming preventative maintenance duties, maintaining curb appeal, following policy and procedures, reporting violations of lease and house rules and assisting with annual apartment inspections identifying action items. Experience in general building maintenance and landscape along with general grounds keeping skills is preferred.
Manager/Maintenance must be authorized to work in the United States and have a valid CA drivers license. Qualified candidates must have good oral and written communication skills; the ability to follow written instructions, manage priorities, meet deadlines and have the ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff in a professional manner.
