A boutique law firm located in Palm Desert, CA, practicing business, construction, and real estate law seeks to hire a full-time office administrator or legal secretary with strong people skills and preferably 5-10 years of law office experience to perform clerical tasks, reception, client relations, note-taking at meetings, recordkeeping, database management, document management, light accounting, vendor relations, travel arrangements, and coordination of a wide array of law office functions.
The ideal candidate will possess keen attention to detail, advanced computer skills, and has spent around five of the last seven years working in law firms. There will be merit-based opportunities for growth and potential promotion to Office Manager.

This position comes with a starting hourly rate between $25 to $30, depending on experience and skills that can be demonstrated in pre-employment written exercises. The law firm matches 4% on 401K, eligibility beginning after six months. All court holidays are paid days off. The law firm also provides two non-consecutive weeks of paid vacation per year. Other benefits offered are payment of 80% of PPO medical and dental insurance through our health care insurance provider in year one, and 100% after year one.
