A leader in the wholesale deli meat industry is seeking a career-oriented, skilled employee for our full-time Delivery Driver position based out of the Palm Springs area.

This position requires working in a refrigerated environment and on weekends, so flexibility is a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (others may be assigned)
Working in our walk-in cooler (refrigerated environment) to pull, process & box customer’s orders for delivery
Off-load weekly delivery to Warehouse
Ensure walk in cooler and back storage area clean and organized, with the correct BIN numbers, and properly rotated
Load truck for delivery
Daily inspection of Vehicle. Fill out a daily inspection report
Report any vehicle malfunctions or issues to supervisor
Maintain a proper temperature of the product at all times
Upon delivery, rotate product into customers walk-in cooler or deli case. Ensure product is put under refrigeration. Make sure refrigeration is between 30-40 degrees
Check-in delivery with customers upon delivery. Have customer confirm delivery with signature, stamp, or customer's receiver invoice.
Requirements:
Open availability/able to work a flexible schedule
Weekend work is MANDATORY
Minimum of one-year relevant experience
Forklift experience/certification preferred but will train
Must be reliable, punctual and professional
Must be at least 24 years old with a Class C license and have clean driving record
Compensation/Benefits:
$18 - 20/hr. compensation based on experience
