This position is located in Palmdale, CA.Essential Functions:Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors develop and/or administer training programs. May be responsible for the development of e-learning programs.As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package, including: Medical, Dental & Vision coverage 401k Educational Assistance Life Insurance Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions Paid Time Off Health & Wellness Resources Employee DiscountsThis position’s standard work schedule is a 1st “5 AM – 3:30 PM” or 2nd shift “4:12 PM – 2:42 AM” and any work schedule.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of Aerospace experience or Master’s Degree with 8 years of Aerospace experience Experience providing high-volume, quality user support and/or customer service Experience with working with business systems, training systems or programs Experience drafting quality process documentation and presentations Experience with compliance audit processes and procedures Experience interacting and briefing executive leadership Ability and experience in analyzing, designing, and developing publications and training materials Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), technical writing, and strong verbal communication skills Must be a customer-oriented team player, able to interact with staff members in a team environment productively Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance, as well as, Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. (US Citizenship Required)Preferred Qualifications: LX Administrator experienceSalary Range: $100,000 - $150,000The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
