Description We are looking for an Account Payable clerk to assist a client on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). You are a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable clerk and will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling statements and assisting with month-end close activities. Process Account Payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Match invoices to purchase orders and verify receipt of goods.
Obtain proper approval for invoices prior to processing payments.
Resolve discrepancies and follow up on outstanding issues.
Prepare and process payments.
Assist with other accounting tasks and special projects as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in Accounts Payable or accounting roles preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
