Home Health Aid (HHA) - Job Summary Compensation: Based on Experience $18.50 - 22.00 BrightStar Care of Ventura & Oxnard is looking for licensed, compassionate and driven home health nursing assistants and home health aides who have the skills to provide the highest-quality care for our clients. Responsibilities and Duties Work with a registered nurse and other clinicians to provide care based on an individualized plan of care. Record your patient’s health status and report it to the nurse. Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating. Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices. Prepare meals and snacks. May include grocery shopping. Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, laundry, and linen changes. Assist with incontinence care. Assist with transportation needs. Staffing opportunities available, facility based Required Qualifications and Skills Current and valid Home Health Aide certification CPR certification Ability to lift at least 40 pounds Availability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays Reliable transportation Valid driver’s license and insurance Prior home health experience preferred, will consider facility based experience Salary and Benefits $18.50-22.00 per hour based on certification and experience Flexible schedule Weekly pay Interested?
