Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk on a contract basis, with the potential for a contract-to-hire arrangement.Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry and invoice processing
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Support accounts payable and receivable functions
Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial records
Handle routine inquiries and provide support for audit preparations
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
