Builder Media, an established B2B publishing company that is the voice of the U.S. housing and infrastructure industries, is hiring an ( In-Office) Assistant Editor to join our team at our Newport Beach location.
Our company is looking for upbeat, charismatic and outgoing individuals to join our team.
Requirements:
BA (in-progress is OK) in Communications/Journalism/English/Creative Writing.
Solid research and AP style writing skills, including curating newsletters, researching and writing articles.
Solid skills foraging for content.
Able to research content for digital newsletters.
Able to post to social media sites.
Able to manage contributors and content in a database.
Must have solid research including curating newsletters and writing articles.
Must have a strong eye for detail.
Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
Technologically savvy (social media, WordPress, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, etc.)
Great phone and email etiquette.
Abe to think on-the-fly and outside-of-the-box.
Writing skills: 2 year (Required)
Journalism: 2 year (Required)
Research: 2 year (Required)
Microsoft Office: 2 year (Required)
Work Location: In person. Not Remote
