Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Class C Delivery Driver to join our team at our Anaheim-based lumber yard. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering lumber and related materials to customer locations throughout Southern California. This position requires knowledge of DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and basic vehicle maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class C delivery truck to transport lumber and materials to customer sites.
Ensure proper loading, unloading, and cargo securement to prevent damage and comply with safety regulations.
Conduct basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
Follow all DOT and traffic laws to maintain a safe driving record.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and interact professionally with clients.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Qualifications:
Valid California Class C driver’s license (must be insurable, with license verification required).
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
Experience in the lumber industry preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Ability to lift and move materials as needed for loading and unloading.
