We are a small and established residential remodeling company based out of Yorba Linda looking to hire a motivated individual with experience in residential remodeling. The ideal candidate will work alongside our small team and subcontractors on projects ranging from kitchen and bathroom remodels to whole house renovations and room additions.
Must be able to complete tasks alone or as part of a team, depending on the situation.
Must have the following experience:
- Kitchen and bathroom demo
- Basic wood stud framing
- Drywall patching, hanging, and taping
- Painting, including prep work
Preferred additional skills:
- Cabinet installation
- Finish carpentry: installing doors, baseboard, crown molding, etc.
- Light electrical (installing switches and receptacles)
- Light plumbing (installing toilets, faucets, etc.)
Responsibilities to include:
- Perform a variety of tasks, including demo, rough framing, and basic finish carpentry
- Prepare job sites for other trades / subcontractors
- Perform punch-list work
- Clean up daily and help maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in the remodeling field or related trade
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Basic tools
- A willingness to learn and a positive attitude
Pay: $22-$25 / hr, depending on experience, mode of transportation, and tools.
Hours: 7:30AM - 4:00PM.
