Job Description: OEM/Aftermarket Parts Salesman
Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced OEM/Aftermarket Parts Salesman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and managing inventory for our range of OEM and aftermarket parts. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive parts, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage inventory efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate parts and solutions.
Contribute to the overall sales goals of the company.
Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on customer inquiries and orders.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of parts.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Coordinate with suppliers to order new stock and manage lead times.
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and update the inventory management system.
Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce excess stock.
Website Sales and Maintenance:
Manage and update the online parts catalog to ensure accurate and current product listings.
Process online orders and coordinate shipping and delivery.
Report website performance and user experience, making necessary updates and improvements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive parts industry.
Strong knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
Starting $450/week + Commission based on outside sales.
Annual bonus TBD
