Wanted: Marine Electrician
All aspects of Installation, repair, maintenance of boats, engines inboard / outboard, repowers, gas/diesel, equipment, tools and associated items
Troubleshoot/diagnose/repair problems
Fast paced environment
Notify supervisor immediately if additional or unforeseen work is needed or required
Notify supervisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
Provide daily updates and assessments
Timely correct completion of work/projects
Follow, administer and comply with all safety procedures and regulations
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
Accurate, detailed daily timesheet records itemized by job and submitted at the end of each day for management review and approval
Maintain a clean and tidy site, and secure and maintain all tools and equipment
Other tasks to be performed as directed by supervisor

Position requires/includes but is not limited to: consistently standing, moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching, lifting, work in tight confined spaces, overhead work, ability to climb up and down ladders throughout each day, work from heights, and the like. Driving may be required. Forklift operation. Ability to push, pull, carry and lift over 50 pounds at a time throughout the day. Work in/on boats and outdoors in all types of surfaces, weather conditions and exposure to elements. Frequently walking on uneven terrain. Ability to push/pull/twist/reach/bend frequently. Use of, exposure and proximity to moving equipment or machinery, materials, tools, chemicals and the like used in the boating/marine/mechanical industry.
