We operate multiple types of food and packaging manufacturing and processing machines.
The position requires diagnosis of machine failures, creation of solutions, and fabrication of parts to make it work.
A basic understanding of electrical circuits, switches, relays, sensors is required.
Experience with hand tools is required as well as an innate sense of forces and material capabilities.
In other words, if you start snapping bolts off at the sight of a wrench, this may not be for you.
If you mix up righty-tighty and lefty-loosey, then this might not be for you.
If your tool box consists exclusively of hammers, this might not be for you.
Reading schematics is a bonus
Understanding PLC’s and ladder logic is a bonus
Familiarity with a VOM is a bonus
Milling machine experience, lathe experience, welding experience, is a bonus
The ability to self-research and self-teach is a bonus
Experience with Solid Works is a bonus
The ability to improvise, adapt, and overcome is a requirement
English required
Spanish is a bonus
