A growing security and maintenance team is looking for a reliable, skilled technician to assist with access control installations, locksmith tasks, and general facility support. Most projects are based throughout Southern California, with consistent work available year-round.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and troubleshoot access control systems (e.g., Schlage, Verkada, etc.)
- Perform locksmith work: rekeying, lock installation, and general door hardware tasks
- Handle general handyman duties such as hardware installs, minor repairs, and light construction
- Run and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat6, RS485)
- Perform walkthroughs and document work completed on-site
- Maintain a clean and professional demeanor with clients and coworkers
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with access control systems or low-voltage wiring (or willingness to learn)
- Background in locksmithing or handyman work preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Basic hand tools preferred (not required)
Compensation & Details:
- $35–$65 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time with consistent projects
