Job Title: Journeyman Electrician (Also accepting Electrical Apprentices)
Location: Irvine CA
Pay Rate: $32–$40/hour
Duration: 6+ Months
Certifications Required: Active ET Card or Electrical License
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians who are actively ET carded or licensed to join our team for a 6-month project. This position involves installation, routing, and securing of rigid conduit, as well as full-scale electrical system work in compliance with NEC standards.
Scope of Work
Install, route, and secure rigid conduit using hand and hydraulic benders in accordance with NEC standards
Pull wire through conduit systems for lighting, power distribution, and equipment connections
Install and terminate electrical panels, transformers, disconnects, and switchgear
Perform layout and installation of overhead and underground conduit runs as per construction drawings
Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics
Troubleshoot and test electrical circuits to ensure compliance and proper function
Coordinate with foremen, general contractors, and other trades to maintain project timelines
Install and wire lighting systems, including high-bay fixtures, motion sensors, and emergency lighting
Ensure all electrical systems are properly grounded and bonded per NEC and local codes
Requirements
Active ET Card or valid Electrical License
Scissor Lift Certification
Completion of online safety course (required prior to jobsite arrival)
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and electrical schematics
Strong understanding of NEC standards and electrical safety practices
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required:
Composite steel toe boots
ANSI Z89.1 and EN 12492-rated helmet
Cut Level 4 safety gloves
