My name is Justin, I am owner/operator at Justonian Builders, Inc. We are currently looking to hire someone for a foreman/project manager type position. This is not your typical pm position driving around and checking on projects. This position will require boots and tool belt on assisting on the job sites however and whenever on top of managing our crews/subs and job site efficiency. We are looking for someone who is motivated, experienced, and not afraid of hard work, but can also assist with the day to day management, project scheduling, and customer relations all at the same time.
Required Experience:
-Demo.
-Framing.
-Finish carpentry.
-Doors and windows.
-Know how to read and understand building plans.
-Experience laying out framing, plumbing, and electrical according to plans.
-Experience laying flooring and tile details.
-Managing crews and sub contractors.
Job duties may include, but not limited to:
-Picking up and delivering materials.
-Demo.
-Digging trenches and footings.
-Concrete.
-Framing.
-Light plumbing and electrical.
-Drywall.
-Tile.
-Doors/windows.
-Finish carpentry.
-Managing crews and sub contractors.
-Scheduling crews and sub contractors.
-Directing and educating crews on job site skills and efficiency.
-Meeting and updating clients on progress and details.
-Submitting plans, pulling permits, and scheduling/meeting with inspectors.
Mandatory Requirements:
-Must be a U.S. citizen.
-Reliable transportation (preferably a truck)/valid CA drivers license.
-Speak English.
-Must have basic hand/power tools.
-Must have a good attitude, be a team player, willing to learn and be able to take constructive criticism.
-Must be willing to grow and share their knowledge with fellow employees.
