Looking for Experienced General Construction for field work.
Specialty structural FRP fabrication company is seeking experienced construction-site workers. Primary work will be on site in Tustin, installing structural FRP from Scaffolding and using heavy machinery. Work schedule is variable, but currently 8 hours a day with occasional Saturday work available. Attention to detail is necessary. Work involves moving and lifting heavy FRP Plate and Channel, 70 pounds requirement. Option for the right candidate to move into a more permanent position at different job sites when this project is finished.
Experience in the following is necessary:
Skill Saw/Table Saw
Working on Scaffolding
Working in a construction environment
Ability to read a tape measure
Understanding of String Lines and "square"
Basic Tools Required
JOB SUMMARY:
A qualified candidate will provide the necessary skills and attitude to build quality finished structures on schedule, following all safety policy guidelines and instructions, and within the designated customer and company specifications. We work primarily with FRP and fiberglass composite structures. Work in Tustin will be expected for the next 4 months to 6 months. Working days are variable and currently at 5 days a week with occasional Saturday. Work will change as weather and need changes. Option for additional field work available for the right candidate, as well as a more permanent role for the right candidate.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to perform all aspects of quality construction and fabrication of structures with varied designs
Must follow directions well and work well with others
Must show an attention to detail
Must follow safety and quality standards at all times and verify quality in accordance with standard process control and quality procedures.
Must be reliable with a solid work ethic
Must be on time and work the available shifts required
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3 years in related fields
Previous Construction Experience
Experienced with the use of basic tools and power tools
Minimum 70lbs lifting ability
Ability to perform the physically demanding aspects of the job including lifting 70 lbs, working at a fast past, standing and/or walking most of a shift, climbing ladders, working above the ground, bending at the waist, and working in outdoor and indoor environments
Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions while working independently
Ability to work overtime (planned and unplanned, weeks and occasional weekends)
Ability to fluently speak, read, and understand English.

Pay is entry level $25.00 Hr. Pay is weekly
