Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist (Temporary Support Role)
Location: Anaheim, CA 92802
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Start Date: July 14
Duration: 2 weeks, with possible extension
Pay Rate: $28 – $33 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to support our production team while a team member is on leave. This temporary position involves full setup, operation, and troubleshooting of CNC milling machines with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Sharp or Kafo – TBD)
Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and work orders
Load CNC programs and adjust tool offsets and work coordinates as needed
Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
Deburr and finish machined components to specification
Perform minor tool grinding and sharpening
Maintain tooling and report any wear or damage
Document completed jobs accurately
Ensure all parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards
Maintain a clean work area and follow all shop safety practices
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
NTMA certificate or equivalent training preferred
5–8 years of CNC mill machining experience
Strong skills in blueprint reading, inspection, and machine setup
Experience with speeds, feeds, and proper tool selection
