Termite Terry Pest Control needs an experienced technician to take over a "dream pest control route". Before I get into all the details about this position, let me tell you a little about what is going on here. We've been in business for 20 years, and our focus has always been on offering services that are superior to what is commonly found in the market place. We are not the "low priced" guys who only spend ten minutes at a house. We only do thorough and detailed work.
The reason for this ad is because our current pest control tech is wanting to transfer into our sales department. We are going to be very picky on who we hire to take over this "prized" route, where the average stop is priced at about $120.00.
Here's what you must be able to do in order to be considered for a tech position. You must have a current Branch 2 field rep license and have a minimum of at least two-years of experience. A good record of previous employment is required (no job hoppers).You must have a clear driving record and a valid driver's license. Must be fluent in English, write legibly, read a map, add numbers, be on time, be small enough to fit into a crawl space, lift 20 lbs., enjoy working with clients, measure fluids, have a nice smile, be bondable, submit to random and scheduled drug test and submit to other testing.
The right person will have experience dealing with rodent control, bee control, bed bugs, gopher control, and numerous other pest problems. You will be expected to sell these services, and to continue building up the route. On a typical day, you will be doing at least eight to ten stops (No short cuts are allowed, everyone must be treated like a King or Queen!). You must take great pride in doing your job thoroughly, and keeping your clients happy.
Regular attendance is critical. Some Saturday work will be required.
We have a generous commission plan and you should be expected to earn at least $1,500 per week. But, the truth is you could end up earning much more than that if you are extremely sharp and highly motivated. In other words, if you are able to help my business grow you will be rewarded accordingly.
