Role Summary:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of all
equipment and machinery through routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting,
and repair activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical and
electrical systems, a solid understanding of preventive maintenance strategies, and
the ability to identify and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure optimal
equipment performance.
Essential Duties:Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and
systems to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and
hydraulic systems as needed.
Conduct inspections and tests on equipment to identify issues before they
cause operational failures.
Document maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and
preventive maintenance schedules.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while
performing maintenance tasks.
Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for maintenance
operations.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and
ensure production continuity.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment
performance.
Authority:Make informed decisions to ensure equipment is functioning optimally for
manufacturing processes, taking proactive measures to prevent failures and
maintain production continuity
Experience Required:2-3 years of experience as an Equipment Technician or in a related
maintenance role, preferably in an ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 environment.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certification or associate
degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in an
industrial, manufacturing, or facility setting.
Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance regulations related to
maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
written in English.
Preferred Knowledge;Skills &; Abilities:Strong ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production,
engineering, and quality teams.
Familiarity with QMS software for logging maintenance activities and tracking
equipment performance.
