Catalina Sea Spa is a charming, family-run boutique spa specializing in couples massages. Our wonderful staff and caring therapists create a positive and uplifting work environment. We're all about good vibes!
Are you a licensed Massage Therapist who excels at creating a positive atmosphere? We want you to join our team starting in June/July. Summer is our busiest season, with couples and families flocking to Avalon for some relaxation and rejuvenation.
Position Details: Full-time but flexible: Enjoy all the island has to offer while working.
Competitive pay: Earn 30% of the service retail price plus generous tips.
Accommodation: We provide tent camping at the local campground. This includes the tent and sleeping bag and is just a short walk from the spa. It's a fun, safe, and clean environment where you can meet travelers from around the world. Therapists are welcome to use the spa break room to eat all their meals, with access to our fridge, microwave, rice cooker, coffee maker, and air fryer for storing and preparing food.

Plan to stay on the island due to the impracticality of daily commuting (round trip boat fare is $89).
Things to Consider: Must provide your Massage Therapy license in advance via email.
Save money by having someone drop you at the boat terminal in Long Beach instead of using the $19/day parking structure.
Expect to do 3-5 massages a day, with busier Saturdays.
Be available/on-call during business hours (10 am-8 pm), with lots of downtime for breaks.
We're closed on Sundays – the perfect day to relax and explore the island.
