Tennis Instructor Wanted
Tennis Anyone is looking for a part time tennis instructor that can both run tennis classes as well as assist another coach. These classes range in size from 2 to 8 students per court and are a mix of Jr and Adult classes. Applicants must have high school varsity tennis playing skills and must have experience giving tennis lessons in a group format. Incoming coach must be vocal and outgoing, and able to direct a class of students. Applicants must be local, responsible, talkative, trainable, and good with people, (primarily children). We are looking for individuals that have a passion for tennis and a passion for people. (pickleball experience (or willingness to learn) is a plus as there may be opportunities)
Applicants MUST be available to work these hours:
Monday & Wednesday 4:15-7:00pm (running classes)
(City of Brea at Country Hills Park, 150 N. Associated Road)
Tuesday & Thursday 4:15-8:10pm (assisting and running classes)
(City of Yorba Linda at Las Palomas Park, 5328 Avenue El Cid)
Applicants must be able to start class ASAP and do paid training starting immediately. Ideally candidates plan to be in the area for at least a year and are able to maintain a consistent schedule. Our classes run year round.
This position pays $20phr assisting and $24phr running classes and there is room for growth as well as potential to expand onto other days or coach Summer Tennis Camps in the mornings. We also have a Jr Assistant coaching position open for High School Aged applicants that pays $16-$18phr
Please map Country Hills Park and Las Palomas Park before applying for this job. Applicants will need to be able to make the drive considering distance and traffic. We reimburse for gas for instructors driving 6+ miles one way. Applicants need to live no further than 15 miles of these location to be considered for hire.
