SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER (Remote in US or on-site in Santa Ana, CA)
Sierra Cybernetics is seeking a Senior Java Developer. You can work remotely within the US or at our government client’s site in Santa Ana, CA. This is expected to be a nine-month plus assignment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
At least 5 years of experience developing large scale applications or sub- systems using Java/JEE technologies.
Experience with MVC frameworks like Struts and Spring MVC (Specifically moving from Struts to Spring MVC)
5+ years of experience with frameworks: Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring JPA, transaction management, JDBC, Object-Relationship mapping frameworks (Hibernate etc.), Java/web front end frameworks.
Experience with JMS Framework and JMS Server Administration
Experience in unit testing, load testing (JMeter) and test automation
Experience with Web Services design and development (SOAP/REST).
5 years of experience in Oracle database design and optimization, PL/SQL programming and SQL performance tuning.
Experience with JavaScript Libraries and UI frameworks.
Experience leading change and release management. Prepare software builds and technical release notes.
Ability to work independently or as a member of a project team. Manage multiple tasks and align workload with respect to established priorities and deadlines.
Communicate clearly across organizational levels.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Git source code version management.
Experience with Jenkins CI/CD process
Java LDAP and Active Directory API Frameworks.
Experience with Oracle WebLogic application server
Experience with Eclipse IDE.
Experience in business systems analysis, application functional design, system and project documentation, workflow analysis and process re-engineering.
