QA Engineer II

General DescriptionEssential Functions Participate with your teams in agile scrum meetings, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Analyze specified requirements, develop test plans, and effectively leverage the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, TestRail, Bamboo) for all changes, including writing test cases, documentation, and change tracking. Test new features as required, ensuring all changes are compliant with regulations such as HIPAA and SOX Create automated tests, and test new features as required, ensuring all changes are compliant with regulations such as HIPAA and SOX Support stakeholders/end users (mostly internal) with troubleshooting and or general application support as needed. Proactively works with team members as needed to resolve issues and meet project goals. Other duties as assignedQualifications Working knowledge of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies. Experience with manually testing changes made to changes made to a software system. Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium WebDriver/JMeter etc. Background in one or more programming languages, such as Java/Python etc. Understanding of relational databases and test data management (ex: MySQL) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lead and drive projects with minimal oversight.
