By intelligently storing power when electricity rates are low and discharging it when rates peak, our battery system helps homeowners significantly cut their utility costs — especially in markets with variable rate structures like California. We’re seeking a motivated Sales Representative / Cold Caller to join our team. You will play a key role in introducing our battery storage system to homeowners, electricians, and solar professionals through outbound calls and follow-up outreach.
This role starts as commission-based, with a clear pathway to a salaried position based on performance.
This position begins with a commission-based structure, where reps typically earn between $300 and $1,200 per sale, depending on the size of the deal. There is no cap on commission, meaning your earning potential is directly tied to your performance. As you demonstrate strong results — generally by closing 5 to 10 sales per month — you’ll become eligible for a base salary plus commission structure. This hybrid model rewards consistent closings while providing long-term income stability. Additional performance bonuses and growth opportunities are also available.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound cold calls to potential customers and partners (electricians, contractors, homeowners)
Qualify leads, explain the value of our battery storage system, and set follow-up appointments
Maintain call logs and customer CRM records
Provide feedback on market trends and lead quality
Collaborate with the team to refine sales scripts and outreach strategies
Attend virtual team meetings and product briefings
Requirements:
Strong verbal communication skills and a confident phone presence
Self-starter with high energy and a positive attitude
Have access to a Computer & Phone
Comfortable making 50–100 calls per day
Experience in solar, home improvement, or energy a plus (not required)
Must be located in the U.S. and authorized to work
