Part Time Technical Sales Associate

PowerPlus Professional Cleanings Solutions, in business since 1987, is a Christian values-based company in the city of Anaheim. We manufacture industrial cleaning equipment, as well as provide supplies, chemicals, and training support to the following industries: professional carpet cleaners, hazmat/bio-hazard cleanup, flood damage restoration and fire damage restoration.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re currently looking for someone who is interested in long-range career growth within our Technical Sales Department. Sales experience is required ( Sales to us is helping the Customer NOT Just Moving Product) , and technical sale experience preferred. We will provide on-the-job training on our products and services. PowerPlus offers a unique environment that fosters individual growth and rewards performance. Everyone here wears many hats and gets exposed to a variety of challenges. You will NOT be doing any cold calling but will be processing existing leads and interacting with current customers.
As a Technical Sales Associate, you will be driving profitable growth and revenue for the company by helping our customers stay ahead of their competition with the latest cleaning technologies and training. You will also be providing them with a wide and immediate selection of products and critical services.
This is a PART-TIME position with some overtime required initially for training. Hours are:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
One Saturday per month 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
We can offer some flexibility on these hours to help accommodate your needs.
IF you would like additional work hours we always have Warehouse projects available at $20.00 per hour until there is a strong familiarity to our warehouse organization. Then up to $28. Per hour.
Salary is 9% commission and a flat $1500. On New Truck Mount Machine sales with a minimum guaranteed base salary of $20.00/hour. Any Overtime will be paid at time and a half.

High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Some College preferred.
Knowledge of Office Suite (Word and Excel) required.
Experience with ACT software is desired, but we will train.
