Southwest Patrol is currently seeking candidates for the position of dispatcher. This person will work out of our dispatch center and need to have the ability to multitask and work well under pressure. Everyday tasks normally consist of answering phones, transferring information into computer aided dispatch systems, checking over attendance sheets, monitoring cameras and completing summary report at the end of one's shift.
-Must have high school diploma or GED
-Must be able to type 35-45 wpm (Applicant needs typing certificate)
-Must be able to spell correctly and write complete sentences.
-Must be familiar with word and excel
-Must have prior experience or equivalent clerical setting.
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must be able to work 8 hours shifts, and overtime if needed
Hiring for one full time position, and must be able to work weekends and holidays
Sunday-Thursday 3pm-1130pm
