Position type: A permanent full-time position is available after 90-days.
Wage: $20.00-$21.00 Hourly. Benefits available if the position leads to full time permanent employment.
Work hours: Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm - 40 total hours per week

Position Overview: The candidate should have prior warehouse and customer service experience via face to face, on the phone and via email. This position will be shipping and receiving while learning company policies and sales. It will also involve handling the will call counter sales as time moves forward.
Position Requirements:
· Proficient with personal computer, telephone, and office machines.
· Able to have physical dexterity and the ability to handle physically demanding manual activity.
· Able to safely lift 100 pounds and maneuver 500 pound 55 gallon drums utilizing a drum dolly.
· Basic mathematical, oral and written language skills.
· Able to participate in a constantly fast changing environment.
· Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to multitask while paying close attention to detail.
· Ability to maintain effective working relationships with both customers and co-workers.
· A high level of professionalism when dealing with customers.
· Able to stand or to sit for an extended period of time.
· Able to pass a background check.
Essential customer service functions:
· Interact with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face at the will call counter.
· Process quotes, orders and general inquiries.
· Enter purchase orders with our vendors for stock and non-stock tooling.
· Interact with customers by telephone, email and face to face. You will need to have a pleasant and kind phone demeanor.
Essential shipping and receiving functions:
· File all daily paperwork and manage the UPS shipping computer system.
· Receive daily UPS shipments and fill orders accordingly based on purchase order notations.
· Handle outbound shipping duties in the afternoons utilizing the UPS shipping computer system.
· Unload a monthly 53 foot shipping container of 55 gallon drums utilizing a drum dolly working in conjunction with the forklift operator.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area which will include daily sweeping of the floor, emptying the trash and keeping boxes and shipping supplies clean and organized.
· Interact with customers by telephone when needed. You will need to have a pleasant and kind phone demeanor.
