Position Overview:
Family owned giftware company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. This multifaceted role combines traditional front-desk duties with e-commerce support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling administrative tasks, managing online and phone orders, creating product listings, and overseeing the shipping process to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Hours: M-F 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls
Monitor and manage incoming phone and online orders from various e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Etsy etc.)
Process and prepare orders for shipment in a timely and accurate manner
Assist in creating and updating product listings on company websites and e-commerce platforms
Upload product images, write compelling descriptions, and ensure pricing and SKU data is accurate
Work with owner to post listings on social media (Instagram and TikTok) and develop email marketing
Pack and label orders efficiently
Generate and print shipping labels using online shipping tools (e.g., ShipStation, USPS, UPS, FedEx)
Track shipments and handle delivery issues or customer service inquiries
Qualifications
Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, sales or e-commerce support role preferred
Comfortable with basic office software (Word, Excel,) and shipping platforms
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Etsy) a plus
Spanish a plus
