Social Services Company is hiring a full-time Receptionist to join a dynamic team! The candidate must understand the needs of people with developmental disabilities in a day program setting.
Under the direction of the Program Manager, this position is responsible for program services for all clients within the office.
Responsibilities:
Handling all incoming and outgoing telephone traffic.
Coordination of office functions.
Coordination of group assignments.
Preparing and maintaining all documents and supplies needed in the program office and field staff.
Keeping areas presentable by maintaining a professional appearance of workstations.
Following Covid-19 Safety Precautions and office sanitation protocols.
Filing room maintenance
Data entry
Other duties assigned
Minimum Employment Requirements:
High school diploma or the equivalent of one year of experience in a related field.
CPR and First Aid training must be completed within 30 days of hire.
Fingerprint certification and no history of criminal convictions.
Job candidates are required to be fully vaccinated including Boosters.
Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Complete knowledge of Microsoft office, including Zoom, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with persons with developmental disabilities and awareness of programming needs are preferred but not required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and organize work.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Schedule:
Full Time
Monday through Friday
Hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Compensation: $16 per hour
