Before I get into all the details about this position, let me tell you a little about what is going on here. We’ve got a pest control company that has been in business for nineteen years and I’m proud to say that even with Covid19, we are still doing well. But, we didn’t get to where we are by sitting back and waiting for the phone to ring, either. We are very aggressive in our creative marketing and are truly in the process of re-inventing our type of business.

The reason for this ad is that we need a new office administrator. Our current administrator will soon be leaving us after nine years of service, and we need someone to take her place. If you’re just looking to buy some time until your old job opens up again, please look for opportunities elsewhere. But, if you’re looking to get in with a company that is growth oriented, with a promising future and where you can truly establish a career, keep reading.

To qualify for this position, you must be honest, ethical, be easy to work with, have a pleasant, outgoing personality. You must be incredibly organized… and most importantly, you must be extremely strong when it comes to using “common sense.”

Also… you must have extensive knowledge of computers including how to use… Quick Books, Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, basic graphic design skills and knowledge of how to create and maintain a database. Knowledge of how to use the Internet… how to navigate… use search engines… etc. etc.

You must have knowledge of how to transfer files, save documents as a JPEG, TIFF file, PDF file, etc…

You must be a computer trouble-shooter. Example – if a computer crashes, or we need to install software, or are having trouble with our printer or scanner, you will need to know how to handle these situations.

Are you a good student and fast learner? There is a lot that you’ll need to learn about our business and you’re going to have to really apply yourself to get up to speed.

Also, you will need to possess excellent phone skills… as you will be handling certain aspects of customer service for this business.

Do you like marketing? If so, this is an excellent opportunity. You’ll learn a whole new array of marketing concepts and have a lot of fun doing it, too.

This position pays between $23-25 per hour. But, the truth is you could end up earning much more than that if you are extremely sharp and highly motivated.
