We are looking for a receptionist to manage our front desk daily and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our receptionist's duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guest and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers and employees in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.

Operate telephone (multi-phone lines).

Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time

spent on hold.

Take thorough messages, indicating the caller's first and last name, company name if applicable, the time and the

message the caller wishes to leave.

Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries.

Assist with administrative tasks including, but not limited to filing, typing correspondence, and assisting with

invoicing.

Handle customer payment for merchandise purchases.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Understand shipping operation procedures and arrangements

Coordinate with various parties to arrange international freight

Being knowledgeable with various destination import / export regulations

Assist customers in a professional manner over telephone and email

Reach out to customers via telephone for shipment status updates

Manage and confirm bookings for overseas customers

Track customer shipments, confirm freight release status, verify customs clearance, cargo availability, support accounting in securing payments, and arrange door deliveries.

Requirements and skills

1 year of administrative or receptionist experience is required.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Microsoft Office experience.

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Ability to operate multi-phone lines.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

Ability to work well with the public.

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Strong computer skills, multi-tasking and enjoy team work atmosphere

Enthusiastic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn

Must be comfortable communicating with clients, oversea agents, and internal team members
